Our Services

Respite & Medium-Term accommodation

We provide respite care in Adelaide, giving home carers a break from their caregiving duties. This allows them to attend to other responsibilities, relax, or go on vacation while their loved ones with disabilities are cared for.

Our respite and short-term accommodation service offers a 24/7 staffed, fully furnished house with social and community activities like bowling and movies.

Personal care and support are provided throughout the day, along with all meals including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and morning and afternoon tea.

Types of Funding

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in Australia provides financial support for a variety of services tailored to individuals with disabilities. The scheme has identified three funding categories, known as support budgets, which include Core Support, Capacity Building Support, and Capital Support.

Parability Support Services focus on assisting participants with their daily tasks and activities, such as personal care, household chores, mobility aids, and communication support. Our services are designed to empower participants by improving their skills and confidence to engage in daily activities and achieve their goals. This may involve support for learning new skills, enhancing communication and social interactions, and promoting greater independence.

Parability works with the NDIS to provide funding to help participants with Respite & Short-term Accommodation, Community Services & Mentoring and Supported Independent Living.
